Joined Boston Ballet in 2013
Andras Ronai of Budapest, Hungary studied at the Hungarian Dance Academy and the Vaganova Ballet Academy. In 2011 he performed in The Nutcracker as a soloist at the Theatre Thália. In 2012 he performed at the International Ballet Gala and Gaudeamus Gala, the National Dance Theatre, Budapest, and at Lorensbergsteatern Göteborg in Sweden.
Ronai has won numerous awards and medals over the years, including first place in the Vienna International Ballet Competition in 2007, first place in the 2010 Hungarian Dance Academy Choreographer competition, and first place in the 2013 Nureyev International Ballet Competition. He also competed in the International Ballet Competition, Lausanne. In 2012, he was a finalist in both the International Ballet Competition in Varna and the International Ballet Competition in Helsinki. He placed second in the International Ballet Competition in Istanbul.
Ronai joined Boston Ballet as a company dancer in 2013.
