Kelly Kerrigan is trained in the classical Pilates method, and received her Pilates mat certification through Power Pilates in 2009. She has taught at Boston Sports Clubs, Harvard University and privately. She continues to learn and enhance her teaching skills by participating in workshops and classes led by teachers including Nora Gomez Dears, Shari Berkowitz, and Power Pilates founders Bob Liekens and Susan Moran.
In addition to teaching, Kelly works on the administration team at Boston Ballet School, managing the Summer Dance Program and Choreographic Intensive. She holds an MFA in Visual Arts from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and a BFA from Boston University, where she was actively involved in performing and choreographing with the student run Dance Theater Group. She has taught figurative painting classes to teenagers and adults at the Museum of Fine Arts, and does her own creative work out of her studio in Boston’s Fort Point Artists Community.
