        Boston - Children's Program
        Marblehead - Children's Program

        Hill 180x230
Malia Hill began her ballet training in her hometown of Newburyport, Massachusetts. At the age of eight, she moved her dance education to Boston Ballet School, where she trained under Tamara King and Laura Young. She supplemented her training in Boston with summers on scholarship in New York and North Carolina. As a Boston Ballet School student, she performed a number of children’s roles in Boston Ballet productions including The Nutcracker, La Bayadère, and Don Quixote.

Hill obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in 2009, where she studied Biology and Dance. During her studies she choreographed and danced with BU’s Dance Theater Group, served as the Director of Ballet Variations Project, and performed with Margot Parson’s Dance Company, where she was the youngest member. After graduating, she taught ballet at The Dance Center in Dedham and worked as an administrator for Boston Ballet School.

In 2012, Hill graduated cum laude from an accelerated second degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing program from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is currently licensed and works as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts. She returned to Boston in March 2013 to join the faculty of Boston Ballet School’s Children’s Program.
