Summer Dance Program

Boston Ballet School offers Summer Dance Program (SDP), a summer intensive training program in classical ballet with a comprehensive curriculum designed for serious ballet students ages 10-19. Room and board is available for ages 12-19.

2014 Program Dates

SDP-Newton (ages 10-14) June 29 - August 2

SDP-Boston (ages 15-19) June 28 - August 2

SDP 2014 Students: Pre-order merchandise online by Friday, May 16!
Items will be available for pick-up when the program begins.

Auditions

Boston Ballet School holds auditions for SDP throughout the United States and Europe. Video auditions accepted until February 14.

SDP-Newton

Students ages 10-14 take classes at our MetroWest Newtonville location. Students age 12-14 have the option to participate in the residential program at nearby Lasell College. Housing is not available for ages 10-11.

SDP-Boston

Students ages 15-19 take classes at Boston Ballet's Company headquarters in Boston's historic South End. Residential students live in nearby Boston University dormitories.
